Trade Mission to the Eastern Caribbean

The Nova Scotia Association of CBDC's with support from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) NS is hosting an in-person multi-sector trade mission to the Eastern Caribbean.

Dates:
May 11–15, 2026
(The delegate, in-market breifing session will take place on Sunday evening, May 10th after 7pm).  

Markets:
Barbados and an optional Second Eastern Caribbean market.

Mission Highlights:
Primary Target Market:  Barbados
Secondary Target  Market:    Select a secondary Eastern Caribbean market for the second half of the week.
Capacity:        Up to 12 trade-ready companies from the four Atlantic Provinces
Sectors:        Multi-sector opportunities, including Alternative Energy, Infrastructure, Education and Professional              Services.  
Matchmaking:      Professional, highly qualified matchmakers will develop customized B2B meetings in both markets

Fee: $750 (non-refundable)

Facilitated Group Accommodation Planning

Mission Secretariat & Meeting Facilities (Barbados)

In-Market Transportation
-Facilitated transportation during the mission.
Export Mentoring & Coaching
- Guidance from experienced trade professionals on the ground during the mission and throughout the mission planning.
Access to Canadian Trade Commissioner Service
- On-the-ground support from Canada’s trade experts in-market.

Expenses:
While the mission registration fee only covers a fraction of the mission elements, the project does not cover individual delegate flights, food and accommodations costs.  Generally, the total of these costs would be in the range of $5,500 - $6,500 per delegate.

22) Digital Assets Required - In order to optimize the mission organization team's ability to promote and attract the best potential contacts for your in-market networking and meetings we require that you forward your company/product logos, professional mission delegate head shot, and any company or product/service promotional video for inclusion in the trade mission promotional site and materials.   5. I commit to give thoughtful and succinct responses to the delegate feedback survey provided after the mission, by end of business on the Friday of the week that the survey is emailed.
  6. I understand that my company's registration is not complete till the registration fee is received. I commit to forward the full registration fee ($750) upon the day of being invoiced.
